BUY A PIXEL, WIN A PICTURE
We have been given a spectacular large photographic print of that well known Aberdeenshire beauty spot ‘Punchbowl at Linn of Quoich’ by Mr Sandy Smith, Meldrum Academy Depute Head Teacher. You can see more of his work at ssmithphotography.co.uk
We will ‘sell’ this to parents and friends of Meldrum Academy at a cost of 1p per pixel. So £10 pounds will buy you 1,000 pixels, that’s 1,000 chances to win. This handsome framed print will be won by the ‘lucky’ owner of one pixel.
All proceeds will go to school causes.
We will draw the prize at the Christmas Concert on Wednesday 15 December.
Every penny raised will go back into supporting pupils in Meldrum Academy.
For example, we will hold our next Dragon’s Den in April 2011. This will allow groups of pupils to pitch for the £1000 investment that will be on offer.
As parents we know that you want to help those activities that make a difference for all our young people. We hope that you will be able to give generously to support this campaign.
