It’s that time of year again when we look for donations of non-perishable foods to help support our local food bank. Every day people in the UK go hungry for many reasons, but just a small box of food can make a big difference. Food banks provide emergency food to people in crisis and their need is increasingly important during the winter period.
The percentage of people in Aberdeenshire using the food bank has risen by about 72% and they have given help to about 1,328 people.
What you can bring:
• Rice/Pasta
• Tea/coffee
• Canned Goods: Soup, Fruit, and Vegetables etc.
