Art Exhibition Sat 13th June
Dear Parents and Pupils,
As you may be aware, all of our schools have recently been involved in creating art work to celebrate The Homecoming. The finished display is stunning. It is nothing short of inspirational, and the quality of our young people’s work is outstanding. You are no doubt proud of your son or daughter’s contribution to this.
I am delighted to offer you the opportunity to come to Aberdeenshire Council’s Headquarters, Woodhill House, to see this fantastic exhibition for yourself. The offices will be open to the public to view the display between 10am and 1pm on Saturday 13th June 2009.
The exhibition will move, in August, to the BP building at Dyce where it will be on display in the lovely atrium of their new offices. It will also be on display for our November In-Service Day and parts of the exhibition will also be heading for the Scottish Parliament.
I hope you will be able to come to Aberdeen to see this outstanding display of our pupils’ talent and creativity. If you would like further details about the exhibition, please contact our Education Learning and Leisure reception – 01224 664630 – who will be happy to help. It would be helpful, for organisation purposes if you could advise your school if you intend coming to the exhibition on 13 June.
Yours sincerely,
Bruce Robertson, OBE
Director of Education, Learning & Leisure
